This Summers movies!

As Movie theaters are opening up here are the ones coming out this summer!

I know we all like to spend the summer outdoors but the days when its over 100 a great family friendly movie may be part of your plan. 

Luna on Disney+ (PG)

Release Date: June 18, 2021 and I will post my review that week!  

As usual, not much is known about Pixar's upcoming movie — they always keep plot details closely guarded — but we do know that it's a coming-of-age tale that takes place in Italy. "Childhood friendships often set the course of who we want to become and it is those bonds that are at the heart of our story in Luca,” director Enrico Casarosa tells Variety. This movie will go straight to Disney+, and will be available without a fee.





Space Jam: A new Legacy (NR)

Release Date: July 16, 2021
If you've been waiting for a Space Jam sequel since 1996, now's your time to shine. This time, LeBron James teams up with all the Looney Tunes characters to save his son, Bronny.





A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story (NR)

Release Date: July 16, 2021 (I am so excited about this one, who loved the song "In my own little corner, in my own little chair"? Can't wait!)

Yes, that is Camila Cabello starring in a musical version of the famous fairy tale. And she's not the only big name in it, either. The cast also includes Idina Menzel (Elsa from Frozen) as Cinderella's evil stepmother, Missy Elliott as the Town Crier, John Mulaney and James Corden as mice who become footmen and Billy Porter as the fairy godparent. 


Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (PG)

Release Date: July 23, 2021
Is Mavis set to take over the family business? Hotel Transylvania fans — and followers of cartoons in general — should be pleased to know that animation great Genndy Tartakovsky will return to direct again.





Jungle Cruise

Release Date: July 30, 2021
Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s JUNGLE CRUISE is an adventure-filled, Amazon-jungle expedition starring Dwayne Johnson as the charismatic riverboat captain and Emily Blunt as a determined explorer on a research mission. Also starring in the film are Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
